We love these pastel colours of eau de nil greens and dusty pinks, pale greys and soft lavenders. They are colours that are soft on the eye and easy to blend with other pastel shades. You can also add some dashes of bolder tones and accessories for a more striking effect. The mood board we created features Laura Ashley wallpapers and fabrics in dusty pinks and eau de nil pastel greens. Eau de nil literally translated means 'water of the Nile', a soft gentle blend of barely there blue, green and grey to give the soft gentle colour of this pale washed green.
